An easy fall dessert made in the Crockpot.
Spray the inside of the slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
Peel and slice apples. Place apples in the slow cooker.
Combine cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over the sliced apples. Stir carefully to distribute over apples.
In a medium sized bowl, combine cake mix, brown sugar, butter and oatmeal.
Place cake mix mixture on top of the apples in the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 2 to 2 1/4 hours-until golden brown. Watch the dessert near the end of the cooking time so it doesn't burn.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipping cream.
