Ingredients

  • 2 15.5 ounce cans garbanzo beans drained
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 3/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 3/4 cup bottled roasted red peppers, drained more for serving, if desired
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Tahini homemade or store purchased-see above post for our recipe.

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor.

  2. Mix until smooth.

  3. Note: I like this recipe just like this. If you like your hummus a bit thinner, add a tsp of water at a time until you get your desired consistency.
