A twist on the classic sloppy joe.
Place ground beef in a deep frying pan. Break up the ground beef leaving bigger pieces.
Add the chopped onion, chopped green bell pepper and chopped mushrooms.
Cook this mixture breaking the meat up more as you cook it but, leaving the pieces of meat bigger than crumble cooking for regular sloppy joes.
When meat has cooked through and veggies are tender, turn heat to low while you mix the corn starch and beef broth.
Then, add the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika to the corn starch and beef broth mixture. Stir to combine.
Add this mixture to the beef and vegetables, turn up the heat and heat through to thicken the sauce. Make sure veggies are desired tenderness.
Turn the heat down to low and place the six slices of provolone cheese on top. Cover with a lid or a piece of aluminum foil to melt the cheese.
Serve on buns with a salad, carrot and celery sticks or anything you like.
