Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/4 cup milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 12 ounce can evaporated milk
  • 2 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter with the chocolate chips in a sauce pan.

  2. Then, add the evaporated milk and powdered sugar.

  3. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring, with a whisk to combine.

  4. When mixture has reached a boil, boil for 6 minutes stirring often, so it will not burn on the bottom.

  5. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla. Stir.

  6. Allow time to cool slightly before serving.

  7. Store in a jar or container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Heat up to serve again.
