A sweet and salty snack recipe.
in a medium sauce pan, bring half and half, butter, white sugar, and brown sugar to a boil. Stir constantly.
Boil for 7 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in marshmallows, peanut butter, and vanilla until smooth.
Pour some fudge into a tall glass to dip pretzels in.
Quickly dip each pretzel in the fudge, putting more fudge in the glass as needed. (dip about half-way up the pretzel rod). Shake, spin, or tap pretzel against the glass to remove excess fudge.
Set each dipped pretzel rod on parchment paper to set.
In a microwave safe bowl slowly heat 6 ounces of chocolate chips with 1/2 Tablespoon shortening. Heat in 20-30 second intervals-stirring after each time.
Pour melted chocolate into a glass and dip one pretzel at a time. Shake, or spin chocolate coated pretzel while still over the glass to remove excess chocolate. Next, add sprinkles as desired. Then, lay the pretzel back on the parchment paper to set. Dip the next pretzel.
As you run out of chocolate, heat another 6 ounces of chocolate and 1/2 Tablespoon of shortening as instructed above. Dip and decorate with sprinkles as desired until all 24 pretzels are coated or you run out of fudge or chocolate. This will depend on how far up the pretzel you dip it and how much you shake off.
