Blueberry Syrup

Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen blueberries thawed
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup Karo corn syrup

Instructions

  1. Place thawed blueberries into a blender and purée.

  2. Pour puréed blueberries, sugar, water, and Karo syrup into a small sauce pan.

  3. While stirring, bring mixture to a boil.

  4. Continue boiling and stirring until sugar has dissolved and mixture has thickened into a syrup consistency.

  5. Remove from heat and serve or you may want to slowly pour syrup through a metal strainer with very small holes. This will make the syrup more smooth. However, this is not necessary-it's just an option.

  6. Serve and Enjoy!
