An easy clean up way to cook bacon.
Cover a large baking sheet with aluminum foil-bottom and wrap around the sides.
Spray foil with non-stick cooking spray.
Lay bacon slices in a single layer across the bottom (and sides) of the pan.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil-wrap the edges around the pan.
Bake at 400° for 45 minutes. I like one pound of bacon at 45 minutes. Check your bacon at 30 minutes to check for your desired crispy-ness and continue cooking, if desired. Adjust as needed.
When bacon is just the way you like it, remove the pan from the oven, lay bacon on paper towel to drain excess bacon grease. Serve and enjoy!
I use bacon grease in a few other recipes so, I pour the grease into a heat safe bowl and allow it to cool. Then place it in a airtight container to later use-store in the refrigerator.
