- 2 pounds chicken breast, thawed
Marinade Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 1/2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme

Instructions For Balsamic Grilled Chicken Marinade:
- Place all of the marinade ingredients in a mixing bowl (or a large Zip-Loc bag-if preferred). Stir well to combine.
- Add the fresh (not frozen) or thawed chicken breasts to the marinade. Stir to coat.
- Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
- When chicken breasts are ready, remove them from the refrigerator to rest while the grill heats up. Heat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Place chicken pieces on the hot grill and grill for about 5 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature is 165° (do not over cook or under cook-use a thermometer to check temperature).
- Serve with salads, rice, veggies, pasta, bread or whatever you love to serve with grilled chicken.
- NOTE: Try to use a bowl or bag that will allow your chicken pieces to be fully immersed in the marinade while marinating.
