Ingredients Needed For Banana Sour Dough Pancakes:

  • 3 medium bananas
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour dough starter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Blueberries
Start your morning with these fluffy and flavorful Banana Sourdough Pancakes! Made with ripe bananas and a tangy sourdough starter, these pancakes are the perfect blend of sweetness and a subtle tang. Instructions For Banana Sour Dough Pancakes:

  1. Mash bananas well.
  2. Then, mix in the eggs and the sour dough discard. Mix well.
  3. Add flour, baking powder and vanilla. Mix to combine.
  4. Cook pancakes on a hot griddle. 
  5. I add fresh blueberries to the pancake batter as soon as I pour the dough onto the griddle. Or you can add the blueberries to the batter in the bowl-before pouring batter onto the griddle. 
  6. Flip pancakes when the first side is golden brown. Cook through on the second side. Enjoy with syrup, extra berries and/or whipping cream.
  7. This recipe makes 7-1/2 cup pancakes.
