Ingredients Needed For Peach Ice Cream:
- 5 cups peaches, peeled and diced
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 14-ounce cans sweetened condensed milk
- 5 1/3 cups Half and Half
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions For Peach Ice Cream:
- Place diced peaches in a mixing bowl with the 1/3 cup sugar and stir. Place in the refrigerator for one hour.
- While the diced peaches are resting, mix the sweetened condensed milk with the half and half, 1 cup of sugar, vanilla, lemon juice and salt in the canister for your ice cream freezer. Stir well and freeze as your ice cream freezer directs.
- When ice cream freezer has finished freezing the ice cream, remove the diced peaches from the refrigerator and blend with an immersion blender or mash up with a fork.
- Add the peach and sugar mixture to the ice cream. Stir well.
- Homemade ice cream tends to be soft so, if you like your ice cream soft, or as a shake, eat it now. If you want it more set, place in a freezer safe container and freeze until set. Serve and enjoy!
