Ingredients Needed For Peach Crisp:
- 5 cups fresh, ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/8 tsp salt
Topping:
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup quick oats
- 2/3 cup pecans, chopped, optional
Instructions For Peach Crisp:
- Peel and slice peaches and place them in a greased 2-2.5 quart baking dish.
- Sprinkle corn starch, vanilla and salt over the peaches and stir to coat. Set aside.
- Melt butter and add the flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, salt, oats and the chopped pecans, if using. Stir to combine.
- Place this mixture evenly over the peaches in the baking dish. Press the oat mixture down slightly.
- Bake in a pre-heated 350° oven for 43-45 minutes-until the topping is your desired amount of browned and it is bubbly around the edges.
