- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 2 coves garlic minced
- 14.5 ounce can chicken broth
- 3/4 cuo heavy cream
- 10.5 ounce can cream of mushroom soup NOT diluted
- 4 cups egg noodles extra wide-uncooked
- 2 cups rotisserie chicken chopped
- 1 cut frozen broccoli chopped (or frozen peas)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp paprika
Instructions For One Pot Creamy Chicken Casserole:
- In a deep pot, cook diced onion in the butter to soften. Cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for just one minute. Stir continuously.
- Add chicken broth, salt, pepper, dried parsley, paprika, cream of mushroom soup and heavy whipping cream. Bring mixture to a boil.
- When mixture boils, add noodles. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally until noodles have cooked-about 10 minutes.
- Stir in chopped chicken and frozen broccoli. Simmer on low just to heat through. Serve and enjoy.
