Ingredients Needed For Tahini:
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds, hulled
- 2 1/2-3 tbsp light olive oil
- pinch of salt
Instructions For Tahini:
- Toast the sesame seeds in a frying pan over medium heat-stirring constantly so they do not burn. Toast to a light tan color-about 3-5 minutes.
- Move to a plate and cool completely.
- Add toasted sesame seeds to a small food processor and blend until crumbly.
- Add oil-begin with 2 1/2 tablespoons and blend until mixture is smooth and pourable. Use or refrigerate.
- Note: add more oil, a little at a time to get the mixture to a smooth pourable paste, as needed.
