We love our Baked Rice recipe so I used it to make an easy Baked Spanish Rice. We love how it turned out! I didn’t brown the rice like most Spanish rice recipes say to do-I wanted easy!! We hope you like this recipe!

Ingredients Needed For Baked Spanish Rice:
- 1 1/2 cups rice, rinsed
- 8 ounce can tomato sauce
- 14.5 ounce can chicken broth
- 1 cup chunky salsa
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 3/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
How To Make Baked Spanish Rice:
- Pre-heat oven to 375°.
- Use a fine wire mesh strainer to rinse the rice with water until the water runs clear.
- Place rinsed rice in a small baking dish-9×9. Set aside.
- Place tomato sauce, chicken broth, salsa, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder and salt into a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
- After the mixture boils, pour it over the rice in the baking dish. Stir and quickly cover with foil, tightly.
- Bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let it sit with the foil on for five minutes.
- Remove the foil and fluff with a fork and serve. Serves 6-8.
