Ingredients Needed For Manicotti Casserole:
Rigatoni Pasta
Ricotta Cheese
Mozzarella Cheese
Parmesan Cheese-freshly grated
Egg
Dried Parsley
Salt
Pepper
Spaghetti Sauce
Instructions For Manicotti Casserole:
First you will need to cook the pasta. Then, drain and rinse pasta. Drain well after rinsing.
While the pasta cooks, combine ricotta cheese, 2 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese, freshly grated parmesan cheese, egg, dried parsley, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
Then, place one half cup spaghetti sauce into the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Top spaghetti sauce with half of the drained pasta.
Next, top the pasta with the cheese mixture.
Add remaining pasta to the baking dish and then top with the remaining pasta sauce.
Sprinkle the 1/2 cup reserved mozzarella cheese over the top of the spaghetti sauce.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes-until hot and bubbly. Enjoy!
