Dried Parsley
Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce
Worcestershire Sauce
Brown Sugar
Seasoned Bread Crumbs

How To Make Onion Bombs:
Peel onions and cut them in half, vertically. Remove the outer two layers of each and keep halves together. Reserve the middle of the onions and finely dice 1/2 cup for meat mixture.
Cut 3-4 cubes of pepper jack cheese. (3-4 due to different sizes of onions so, you may be making 3 or 4 onion bombs with the meat mixture)
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, diced onion, salt, pepper, dried parsley, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, seasoned bread crumbs and diced jalapeños. Mix well.
Form ground beef mixture into three or four balls-depending on the size of your onion pieces.
Press cheese cubes into the center of each meatball, reform ball as needed.
Place meatball in the center of two onion sides.
Wrap four slices of bacon around each meat filled onion. Use toothpicks as needed to secure.
Brush barbecue sauce all over the bacon. Brush with more barbecue sauce as it cooks, as needed and desired.
Grill at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or more-internal temperature needs to be 160 degrees. Check internal temperature with a meat thermometer.
When cooked through, serve and enjoy!
