Ground Beef
Egg Yolk
Salt
Pepper
Cream Cheese
Pepper Jack Cheese
Anaheim Peppers
Lettuce
Tomato
Onion
Pickles
Hamburger Buns
Instructions For Salt City Copycat Mexicali Jack Burger:
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, egg yolk, salt and pepper. Mix well and form into three hamburger patties.
Remove stem and seeds from Anaheim peppers and slice through one side, vertically so the pepper can lay flat.
Grill burgers and Anaheim peppers.
When burgers have cooked though, top each burger with pepper jack cheese and melt.
Top with a slice of cream cheese and allow time to warm.
Remove from the grill and place on buns. Top with grilled Anaheim peppers, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles as desired. Also add ketchup, mustard and or mayo as desired. Enjoy!

A delicious copycat burger recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 Anaheim peppers divided
- cream cheese
- pepper jack cheese
- lettuce
- tomatoes
- onion
- pickles
- hamburger buns
- ketchup, mustard and mayo as desired
Instructions

Remove the stem and seeds from the Anaheim pepper and slice vertically through one side of the peppers so they will flatten out. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine, ground beef, egg yolk, salt and pepper.

Press ground beef mixture into three patties.

Grill hamburger patties and Anaheim peppers.

Internal temperature for the hamburger patties needs to be 160° and the peppers need to be tender.

When patties have cooked through, turn heat down on the grill and top with pepper jack cheese and allow time to melt. Top with a layer of cream cheese and allow time to warm cream cheese.

Remove from grill, place on a bun, top with Anaheim pepper, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, and any condiments, as desired. Enjoy!
