Vegetable salads are the best. For us, all salads are the best, all year long. The cauliflower, celery, onion, and peas taste so great combined with the ranch dressing. This salad is easy to make and is sure to become a family favorite.
This salad goes great with grilled chicken, grilled steak, brats, or burgers. We have served this salad with pizza a time or two as well. It is a fantastic and simple salad recipe.
Ingredients Needed for Cauliflower Salad:
Cauliflower, chopped into bite-sized pieces
Celery, sliced
Onion, diced into small pieces
Peas, frozen but thawed
Buttermilk
Mayonnaise-Best Foods it the best and our favorite
Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch dressing seasoning mix
Lawry’s seasoning salt
Black pepper
Garlic powder
Instructions Needed for Cauliflower Salad:
Remove the peas from the freezer and allow time for them to thaw.
Make the dressing: In a small mixing bowl, combine buttermilk, Best Foods mayonnaise, Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch seasoning mix, Lawry’s seasoning salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate.
Chop cauliflower into bite-sized pieces.
Slice celery.
Dice onion into small pieces.
Place bite-sized pieces of cauliflower, sliced celery, and chopped onion into a serving bowl.
Add Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch dressing mixture to the vegetables and stir well to coat.
Add thawed peas and fold them into the salad.
Cover and refrigerate to chill.
Serve and enjoy!

- 7 cups cauliflower chopped
- 6 cups celery sliced
- 1/2 cup onion diced
- 10 ounces peas thawed
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup Best Foods Mayonnaise
- 1 ½ tbsp Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch Dressing Mix
- 2 tsp Lawry's Seasoning Salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions

Remove peas from the freezer to thaw.

Place buttermilk, mayonnaise, buttermilk ranch dressing mix, Lawry's seasoning salt, black pepper, and garlic powder in small mixing bowl. Mix well with a whisk, cover and refrigerate.

Chop cauliflower, slice celery, and chop onion. Place vegetables in a large mixing or serving bowl.
