Ingredients Needed for Easy Orange Chicken Lettuce Wraps:
Ground Chicken
Water chestnuts
Green onions
Orange zest
Orange juice
Rice wine vinegar
Soy sauce
Sesame oil
Brown sugar
Garlic
Ground ginger
Red pepper flakes
Salt
Pepper
Corn starch
Water
Lettuce leaves
Green onions, to garnish
Instructions for Easy Orange Chicken Lettuce Wraps:
Crumble cook the ground chicken. Add chopped water chestnuts and sliced green onions and cook for 2-3 more minutes. Set aside.
Make the orange sauce: zest the orange and then juice the orange.
Add orange zest, orange juice, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, ground ginger, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper to a sauce pan and bring to a boil.
Combine corn starch and water. Add to orange sauce.
Continue simmering and stirring until sugar has dissolved and sauce has thickened.
Combine ground chicken mixture and orange sauce and serve in lettuce leaves. Garnish with more green onion and extra orange zest-even sesame seeds, if desired.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/4 cup water chestnuts chopped
- 3 tbsp green onions sliced
- 2 tsp orange zest zest the orange before juicing
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 3 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 3/4 tsp ground ginger
- 3/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 2 tbsp water
- lettuce leaves
Instructions

Crumble cook ground chicken. Add chopped water chestnuts and green onions. Stir and cook for two more minutes.

In a sauce pan, add orange juice, orange zest, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, ground ginger, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil stirring frequently.

Mix corn starch and water together and add to orange sauce. Continue boiling and stirring to dissolve the brown sugar and to thicken.

When sauce has thickened, combine sauce with the ground chicken mixture.

Serve in lettuce leaves. Garnish with more green onions, extra orange zest, and sesame seeds, if desired.
