Breakfast is one of our favorite meals of the day. It’s just the best food. As you may know from many other posts on our food recipe blog, we will eat breakfast foods anytime during the day. We especially love to eat breakfast foods for dinner. This syrup and the other syrups here are easy to make and very delicious. We hope you enjoy this recipe.
Ingredients Needed for Blueberry Syrup:
Frozen but thawed blueberries
Sugar
Water
Karo Syrup
How to Make Blueberry Syrup:
Blend the thawed blueberries in a blender to purée. I love the Ninja Professional Blender-it is the best.
Place puréed blueberries, sugar, water, and Karo corn syrup in a small sauce pan.
Stirring frequently, so mixture will not burn, bring the syrup to a boil.
Boil until sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens into a syrup consistency.
Serve over Lemon Poppy Seed Pancakes or any other pancake (or French toast-whatever you would like).
You may want to use the syrup just as it is or you may want to slowly pour the syrup through a metal strainer with very small holes to remove any pieces of the blueberry that didn’t purée. Doing this will make a smoother syrup.

This blueberry syrup is delicious over pancakes, waffles, crepes, or vanilla ice cream-after it has cooled, of course. It would also be so good over a cream cheese mixture filled crepe!

Other Breakfast Recipes You Want to Try:
Breakfast Sandwiches-is a post with MANY different breakfast sandwich ideas. It uses a great little appliance-below. This Breakfast Sandwich Maker is fantastic. I received this as a gift a few years ago. I didn’t think I would love it as much as I do. It is easy to use and easy to clean. You can make these sandwiches without it but it is fun and easy. It is super easy for teenagers to use and they love it! Another great thing about this is how small it is. So, it is easy to store, too.
Bacon Mushroom Breakfast Casserole is a super easy casserole for breakfast or dinner. This is the one we make for Christmas morning breakfast every year, it’s definitely a family favorite. It is full of sautéed mushrooms, eggs, cheese, bacon, onion, garlic, and seasonings. It is easy to put together. You can make it before you go to sleep and then, bake it in the morning to save time on busy mornings.
Breakfast Crunch Wrap is such a fun recipe to make and eat. If you love breakfast foods and you like crunch wraps, you will love this recipe. This recipes requires eggs, flour tortillas, tostadas, bacon, cheese, salsa, and our favorite canned nacho cheese sauce. Rico’s Nacho Cheese Sauce has the best flavor and texture.
Breakfast Muffins are a fun breakfast and a great one if you are in a hurry. You can eat these with your hands while running out the door. The hash brown patties are placed in the bottom of brownie pan. These will hold the breakfast muffins together. They are versatile as well. You can change up the meat, the cheese, and the vegetables.
