Breakfast is a delicious and great meal. It’s a great meal for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Breakfast foods for dinner are fun and so yummy. There are so many breakfast foods that are easy to make and take very little time. French toast, pancakes, eggs and bacon, quiche, and waffles are some of the best.
We love to use Pillsbury Pie Crusts for quiche. Pillsbury makes the best pre-made pie crusts I have used. I have tried a couple of the store brands and have not liked them as much. Making pie crust in the morning before work, doesn’t work for me-I do not have the time so I use pre-made pie crusts for this and other recipes, too. I can get this recipe put together quickly if I have a pre-made pie crust. Bake this quiche while the family gets ready for the day. Then, breakfast is ready for them to eat. I love homemade pie crust, but I don’t always have the time to make one. I’m so glad Pillsbury makes a great crust.
If you have any leftovers of this quiche, you need to store it in the refrigerator in a covered container or on a plate-then cover it in plastic wrap. You can store it for two to three days. Reheating this can be done in the microwave but, I like it warmed up in the oven. The oven helps the crust stay more flaky.
Ingredients Needed For Mega Meat Quiche:
Pillsbury pre-made pie Crust or a homemade pie crust
Jimmy Dean ground pork sausage
Bacon crumbles-pre-cooked and crumbled bacon or you can cook and crumble bacon strips
Diced ham
Pepperoni
Mozzarella
Eggs
Heavy whipping cream
Flour
Garlic powder
Onion powder
Salt
Pepper
How to Make Mega Meat Quiche:
Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees.
Crumble cook the ground sausage (we love Jimmy Dean’s ground sausage) in a frying pan, drain the fat if there is any in the pan, and set aside.
Press the pre-made or homemade pie crust into a 10 inch pie pan.
Layer the meat in the bottom of the pie crust: sausage, bacon, ham, and then, the pepperoni.
Top the pepperoni with the grated Mozzarella cheese.
In a medium sized mixing bowl with a whisk, combine eggs, heavy whipping cream, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the ingredients in the pie pan.
(We like to tear tin foil into strips and cover the edges of the pie crust so it does not get too dark or burn).
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Then, reduce the oven temperature to 325 degrees and continue baking for 30 more minutes.
Remove the quiche from the oven and allow it to cool for five minutes. Cut, serve, and enjoy!
