How to Make Spicy Spanish Rice:
To make this easy dish, you will start on the stove top in a skillet pan. I love to use this one. Start on medium heat and add in the butter and rice. Let the rice brown up a little bit. Next you will add in the tomato sauce, water, garlic salt, bullion cube, and taco seasoning. Bring the liquid to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cover to cook for about 25 minutes. You’ll know this recipe is done when all of the liquid is absorbed. Fluff the rice with a fork and serve immediately.
For this Spicy Spanish Rice I use the El Pato brand of tomato sauce because it adds so much great, spicy flavor. If you didn’t want this dish to be spicy, you could use regular tomato sauce. Salsa would also be a great substitute in this dish too if you didn’t want to use the hot tomato sauce.
If you make this dish, please let me know how you like it! I hope you love it!
