We have always loved Breakfast Sandwiches! With this Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker, we get breakfast sandwiches whenever we want without leaving the house. Well, as long as I have been grocery shopping and have the yummy ingredients in my refrigerator. Check out the variations at the bottom of this post.
I have had a lot of fun trying different recipes with this sandwich maker. We haven’t made one we haven’t liked! Recipes to follow in this post….
I saw this sandwich maker and thought, that would be fun. But, I didn’t buy it. A few months later, we went to a White Elephant Party before Christmas. One of the gifts was this Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker. I was excited. Somehow I was able to win it and bring it home.
As I have used it, I have learned how some helpful things:
Positives:
Easy to clean
Quick
Cooks well in 5 minutes
Lots of variations
The only things that you need to watch are:
If your meat is thick, like a sausage patty you will need to make sure to push down on the plastic handle on the insert (the circles with the sliding metal piece that slides between the two circles) after you crack the egg into the top level. Just to make sure the egg doesn’t slip out.
Also, make sure the metal piece that slides between the two circles is fully pushed through the circles. You don’t want your egg to leak out the back of the sandwich maker. I have forgotten to do this twice.
Cook’s Note:
Use a hot pad to press down on the top of the sandwich maker after you close the top.
Use a plastic fork to scramble the egg in the top compartment so you don’t scratch the surface of your sandwich maker.
Spray cooking spray in the top compartment each time you make a sandwich.
Directions For Breakfast Sandwiches:
In the bottom compartment, place the bottom of your English Muffin in the very bottom ring. Next, put your layer of cheese, Then, your meat layer.
Bring the piece that separates the two rings and the top ring down. Making sure the piece that separates the meat from the egg is slid all the way in-no spaces anywhere.
Spray the top compartment with cooking spray, crack the egg into the top part, scramble the egg with a plastic fork, place the top side of your English Muffin on top of the egg and close the top. Press down lightly with a hot pad for a few seconds, if needed due to a thick piece of meat, like a sausage patty. If you aren’t using thick meat, pressing down is not necessary.
Wait 5 minutes. Lift the top. Press the top of the English Muffin down as you slide the piece that separates the meat and egg out from between them. Lift the rings off the sandwich carefully because it is hot. Serve and enjoy your sandwich.
I haven’t actually burned myself with this appliance, which is great!! It is really simple to use.
I will be buying a dual Hamilton Beach Breakfast Sandwich Maker in the near future.

Our family definitely does not claim to be perfect cooks. Cooking (and eating what we cook and what others cook) is one of our favorite things to do but, we are not perfect. Typos are something we hate to find in our recipes, but, it happens. If you find any mistakes, please let us know-we will fix them as soon as we can and we will appreciate your excellent editing skills.
