Ingredients Needed for Seasoned Pork Loin with Gravy:
2-2 1/2 pounds pork loin roast
2 14.5 ounce cans chicken broth
3 Tablespoons soy sauce
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
4 garlic cloves minced
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon thyme
2 beef bouillon cubes, for gravy
Flour and warm water to make a roux-to thicken gravy
Instructions for Seasoned Pork Loin with Gravy:
Pour broth, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic cloves, black pepper, ground ginger, and thyme into a slow cooker and stir to combine.
Place pork loin in the slow cooker.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
When pork has cooked for 8 hours, remove pork from slow cooker.
Pour juices from slow cooker into a sauce pan. Add two beef bouillon cubes and bring to a boil.
As the juices from the pork loin heat up, place warm water in a glass measuring cup and enough flour to make roux-I use 3/4 cup of warm water and 6 tablespoons of flour. Mix with a wire whisk until smooth.
As broth boils, add the roux a little at a time, using a whisk to mix, until gravy is desired thickness.
Serve with mashed potatoes, if desired and enjoy this easy dinner.
