Caramel Cake Cookie Bars are made with two cake mixes. This is such an easy dessert but it looks and tastes like it took longer 😉. Ingredients Needed for Caramel Cake Cookie Bars:
1 yellow cake mix
1 Devil’s Food chocolate cake mix
4 eggs
2/3 cup oil
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup caramel flavored topping
Instructions for Caramel Cake Cookie Bars:
In two separate bowls, mix each cake mix with 2 eggs and 1/3 cup oil. In the yellow cake mix bowl, add the chocolate chips and mix well.
Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Spread the yellow cake mix batter evenly into the bottom of the baking dish.
Spread the caramel flavored topping on top of the yellow cake mix batter.
Drop spoonfuls of the chocolate cake mix batter in random places over the caramel flavored topping layer.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35- 40 minutes. Ovens vary, so watch closely.
Serve with whipped cream and/or ice cream.
