Ingredients Needed for Easter Snack Mix:
Trix cereal (or Fruit Loops, if you prefer-they are bright fun colors, too)
Rice Chex cereal
Popcorn
Mini pretzel twists
Colored mini fruity marshmallows
Sixlets pastels candies
Bright White Candy Melts
Instructions for Easter Snack Mix:
Combine Trix Cereal, Rice Chex Cereal, popped popcorn with kernels removed, mini pretzel twists and miniature pastel fruity marshmallows in a large mixing bowl. Stir well to mix.
Melt Bright White Candy Melts in a microwave safe bowl. Heat according to the package directions on the candy melts. (Heat on defrost for one minute-then stir thoroughly. Then, at 30 second intervals on defrost stirring between each interval until melted)
Quickly drizzle the melted candy melts over snack mix, as you add the Sixlets candies. Stir well to coat but carefully so you don’t break the cereal.
Spread snack mix out on two large baking sheets to dry-2-3 hours. Then, serve and enjoy or store in airtight containers on the counter to serve and enjoy later.

- 12 ounces Bright White Candy Melts
Instructions

Mix Trix, Chex, popcorn, pretzels and marshmallows in a large mixing bowl. Carefully, stir well.

In a microwave safe bowl, melt candy melts on defrost for one minute and stir well. Then, heat on defrost for 30 second intervals, stirring between each, until melted. (Follow directions on the back of the candy melts bag)

Quickly drizzle melted candy melts over the snack mix as you sprinkle in the Sixlets so they do not end up in a clump or at the bottom of the bowl. Stir to distribute the candy melts.

Place snack mix on two large baking sheets to dry out-about 2-3 hours.
