This croissant baked chicken is delicious. I bought croissant rolls for Chicken Salad Sandwiches and had a few left over. I let them dry out a bit. Then, put them in my Ninja blender, using the single serve cup to crush them into bread crumbs. This worked perfectly because the Ninja is great!

Ingredients Needed For Croissant Baked Chicken:

  •  2 pounds chicken tenders
  • 1 1/2 cups croissant bread crumbs, about three regular size croissants
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/8 tsp celery salt

Instructions For Croissant Baked Chicken:

  1. Mix smoked paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper and celery salt in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Break up day old croissant rolls to fit into blender and blend to make bread crumbs.
  3. Pour croissant bread crumbs into a shallow bowl or onto a plate and set aside.
  4. Pour milk into another shallow bowl.
  5. Dredge the chicken tenders in the milk and then coat in the croissant bread crumbs. 
  6. Place the coated chicken tenders into a lightly greased 9×13 and a 9×9 baking dish.
  7. Continue dredging and coating until all of the chicken tenders are coated.
  8. Sprinkle the smoked paprika spice mix over each chicken tender-distribute spices as evenly as possible.
  9. Bake in a 400° oven for 18-20 minutes or until chicken pieces reach an internal temperature of 165°.
  10. Remove from the oven and serve immediately with a side salad or other veggies. Enjoy!
