This Grilled Asparagus recipe is simple to make and has the great flavor of the grill. All you need is a little olive oil and salt, along with asparagus. I love that you get the flavor of the asparagus and the grill without a lot of other seasonings and flavors. It’s delicious.
It is so easy to cook when you are already grilling for dinner anyway. It tastes delicious and I personally love it all charcoaled. You can lay the asparagus right on the grill or use a grilling pan. Ingredients Needed For Grilled Asparagus:
1 bundle asparagus-about one pound
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper-to taste
Instructions Needed For This Grilled Asparagus Recipe:
Wash the asparagus and cut off the hard ends, if desired. (If the ends are quite tough, my family will not eat them. So, I will trim the ends. Also, when the ends are tough, they will be stringy. The tender tops are the best part)
Place asparagus in a large bowl or on a large plate to coat with olive oil and desired salt and pepper.
Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Place right on the hot grill and cook until desired tenderness (you can also use a grilling pan, if desired).
Rotate often to not burn the asparagus.
Once tender, remove and enjoy!
