This Savory Pork Loin is delicious. It’s a great slow cooker recipe. We made gravy from the stock and served it with mashed potatoes, rolls, and green beans.
2.5 pound pork loin
1/8 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1 Tablespoon oil
2 14.5 ounce cans chicken broth
3 Tablespoons soy sauce
For Gravy:
1/2 cup hot water
5 Tablespoons corn starch
Directions:
1. Combine all spices in a bowl. Rub combined spices all over pork loin.
2. Pour oil in a frying pan and heat. Brown pork loin on all sides.
3. Place browned pork loin in slow cooker and cover with chicken broth and soy sauce. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
4. When pork is cooked, remove from slow cooker. Cover with foil to keep warm until ready to cut and serve.
5. Pour the stock from the slow cooker through a strainer into a sauce pan.
6. Bring stock to a boil. Mix water and cornstarch together with a whisk until smooth. Slowly pour corn starch mixture into boiling stock to thicken for the gravy.
