These Korean Meatballs are fantastic. They are very flavorful and they disappear quickly. My family loves them.
1 pound ground beef
1 cup quick oats
2 eggs
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Sauce:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 Tablespoons sesame oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl-mix well. Then, form into meatballs.
2. Place meatballs in a greased 9×13 baking dish.
3. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Bake until no longer pink-don’t let them dry out.
4. Make sauce: place all sauce ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil to dissolve sugar and combine flavors.
5. Serve meatballs and Korean sauce over rice. Enjoy!
