This Frito Pie Taco Salad is delicious! Hope you like it too.
Ingredients:
9 1/4 ounce bag Fritos
1 pound ground beef
1 10 ounce can Rotel
1/2 cup onion, diced
1 10 3/4 ounce nacho cheese soup
2 Tablespoons taco seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 15 ounce can red beans, drained and rinsed
Toppings:
Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Lettuce, shredded
Tomatoes, diced
Cilantro, chopped
Sour cream
Olives, chopped
Cilantro Lime Dressing Recipe
Directions:
1. Crush Fritos in a blender and press into a 9×13 baking dish. Set aside.
2. In a frying pan, cook ground beef and onion.
3. When meat is cooked through, add Rotel, taco seasoning, garlic powder, and red beans.
4. Add nacho cheese soup and heat through.
5. Spoon meat mixture on top of the Frito Crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
6. When Frito pie is baked, remove from oven.
7. Place shredded lettuce on a plate. Top with a piece of Frito pie.
8. Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, olives, cilantro, and Cilantro Lime Dressing.
