Chicken Rolls are a family favorite that I always loved eating when I was growing up, and still do. They are such a great comfort food, I know you’ll love them too!
Ingredients Needed For Chicken Rolls:
Crescent rolls
Cream cheese
Chicken, cooked and shredded
Can mushrooms, drained
Green onion, sliced
Butter, melted
Italian breadcrumbs
Salt
Pepper
Garlic Powder
I have made these with little to no mushrooms. One family member does not like mushrooms. Once in a while I will make them so he doesn’t have to pick the mushrooms out.
Instructions:
Combine cream cheese, melted butter, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, mix well. Fold in chicken, green onions, and mushrooms.
Unroll and press out crescent rolls a little. Place chicken mixture in the center of the roll and fold it into a ball.
Dip it in melted butter and breadcrumbs. Bake on a greased sheet pan at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
Chicken Rolls are very delicious served with cream of chicken soup to dip in or poured over the top. Just heat up the Campbell’s Cream of Chicken Soup-no water or just a little water added. Do not use the full can of water as instructed on the can. You will want it to be thicker like a gravy not thin like a soup.
Enjoy!
