4 tablespoons honey
2/3 cup soy sauce
2 cups water
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 tablespoons corn starch
2/3 cup water
Instructions for Teriyaki Sauce:
1. Bring all ingredients EXCEPT: corn starch and 2/3 cup of water, to a boil in a sauce pan. Stir frequently to avoid burning.
2. Combine 4 tablespoons corn starch and 2/3 cup water in a small bowl or glass measuring cup. Stir until corn starch has dissolved.
3. Slowly add corn starch mixture to boiling sauce to thicken.
4. Refrigerate or use immediately.
