These luscious, gooey lemon bars are perfect for parties, barbecues, game night, just hanging out at home with the family. They are always delicious and always well received. Not many ingredients are needed to make these delicious dessert bars. We hope you enjoy them.
Ingredients needed:
Crust:
1 cup flour
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
Lemon Top:
flour
sugar
baking powder
eggs, beaten
fresh lemon rind
fresh lemon juice
How to make gooey Lemon Bars:
Combine ingredients for the crust, mix well. Then, press mixture into a 9×9 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Let cool.
In another bowl, beat eggs, lemon juice, sugar, and lemon rind together. Then, stir in flour and baking powder.
Pour lemon mixture over cooled crust and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Watch closely so it doesn’t burn.
Let cool, dust with powdered sugar, and serve.
