These Strawberry Breakfast Rolls look really pretty and were so delicious!
Ingredients:
12 Rhodes Dinner Rolls
12 frozen strawberries-divided equally into two
1/2 cup butter
For the glaze:
Half of the frozen strawberries from above
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup half and half
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. Thaw rolls just enough to be able to cut them in half.
2. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray and arrange cut rolls in pan.
3. Drizzle melted butter on top of the rolls. Then, sprinkle half of the frozen strawberries on top.
4. Cover with plastic wrap that has also been sprayed with cooking spray. Let rise for about two hours. Longer if necessary for Rolls to thaw completely and rise.
5. Remove plastic wrap and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
6. For the glaze: the reserved strawberries will be thawed now. Place powdered sugar, half and half, and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Mix with an electric mixer until smooth. Add strawberries and blend.
7. When rolls are finished baking, top with strawberry glaze and serve warm.
