We all love bacon. This Bacon Fried Rice is easy to make and really-really good. It’s great with egg rolls, pot stickers, orange or sesame chicken-anything.
This recipe is great as a side. It is also great as a main dish. It has rice, meat and vegetables.
Rice cookers are a great way to cook rice. Also, baking rice is an easy option for cooking rice. Baking rice is my favorite way to cook rice. It only takes 30 minutes. Boil 3 1/2 cups water with some butter and salt. Pour the boiling water over the rinsed 2 cups rice, Cover tightly with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and rest for 5 minutes with the foil on.
Ingredients You Will Need For Bacon Fried Rice:
crumbled bacon-I use Kirkland’s Bacon Crumbles from Costco.
green onions
red bell pepper
frozen peas
eggs
soy sauce
cooked rice
How To Make Bacon Fried Rice:
In a deep frying pan or Wok, combine bacon crumbles, onion, and red bell pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender.
Stir in peas, heat through.
Scramble eggs in a bowl and add to vegetable mixture. Stirring to cook and distribute egg.
Add cooked rice to the mixture. Stir to combine and heat through.
Add soy sauce. Stir to combine.
Serve hot and enjoy.

- 1 ½ cups crumbled bacon I love (Costco's) Kirkland's Bacon Crumbles
- 3/4 cup green onions sliced
- 1 cup red bell pepper diced
- 2 cups frozen peas thawed
- 2 eggs beaten
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 cups cooked rice
