Slow Cooker Baked Beans are an easy side dish or meal. The bacon and the other ingredients make these baked beans the best!
Our family has been making Slow Cooker Baked Beans for over 20 years. We love to make them during all seasons of the year. Serve them with a yummy bread and dinner is done!
We also serve them when we barbecue. Just last night we served them with boneless pork ribs. They are a great side or great as a meal. Baked beans are very filling, delicious, and so easy to put together. Also, since they are made in a Croc Pot-fix it and then, forget it until dinner time. 😊
Normally, I mix the ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a separate bowl. However, I have on occasion just placed those three ingredients right into the Slow Cooker and stirred to combine. Just make sure the brown sugar clumps are mixed in as well. This way has worked fine for me. It is a little bit quicker and leaves me with one less bowl to wash.
Ingredients Needed For Slow Cooker Baked Beans:
4 15 ounce cans pork and beans
1 3/4 cup bacon crumbles, (you can also cook and crumble bacon yourself)
onion, chopped
green pepper, chopped
1 1/4 cups ketchup
3/4 rounded cup brown sugar (so a little more than 3/4 cup)
2 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
Put pork and beans, bacon crumbles, diced onion, and diced green pepper in Crock Pot.
In a bowl combine ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine.
Add ketchup mixture to the pork and bean mixture and stir to combine.
