This Date Jar will hopefully help you and your significant other make plans for your evenings and weekends without asking, what do you want to do?
Every night when my husband is on his way home from work he calls me and asks “What are our plans tonight?” And I, being the antisocial that I am, don’t typically plan anything so I respond with “I don’t know” or “What do you want to do?” After a couple weeks of the SAME question every night I made a jar of dates and I labeled it, “What are our plans tonight?”
I used cute design scissors and cut out a bunch of strips of different colored paper and wrote every idea I could come up with on them. I wrote down ideas for all the seasons and I tried to make cheap or free dates.
