Ingredients Needed for Cinnamon Apple Bread:
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 apple, peeled and chopped into small pieces
Instructions for Cinnamon Apple Bread:
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon together. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl, mix butter and sugar until smooth.
Mix in eggs, milk and vanilla.
Mix in flour and baking powder and mix until just blended.
Grease a bread pan and pour half of the batter into the bottom.
Sprinkle on half of the apples and pat them into the batter.
Next, sprinkle half of the brown sugar and cinnamon mixture on top.
Pour the rest of the batter into the pan and top with remaining apples and brown sugar and cinnamon mixture. Pat the toppings down.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes nearly out clean.
Leave in pan to cool for 10 minutes.
