These sausage balls will be going with us on New Years Eve. They are always a great option to take to parties. They are devoured quickly-who doesn’t love sausage?
We also make this recipe for a snack at home for movie night or game night. I have even made them for dinner paired with a salad or vegetable, just because we like them so much.
They are so easy to make and do not require a bunch of ingredients-which is always great!! They are a little messy to make, just because you mix the ingredients together with your hands and form the balls with your hands.
Ingredients you will need:
Ground sausage, I prefer Jimmy Dean Sausage
Bisquick Baking Mix
Cheddar cheese, grated
Water
How to make Sausage Balls:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until completely blended and moistened (if needed, add a bit more water). Form balls (I like to use tight fitting food grade gloves when rolling this meat mixture into balls) and place them in two 9×13 baking dishes that have been sprayed with cooking spray.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-23 minutes. Should be a light golden brown.
Enjoy while they are still warm!!
