Ingredients Needed For Creamy Alfredo Sauce Recipe:
16 ounces of pasta, prepared as directed on package
1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream or Half and Half
1 1/2 cups milk
8 ounces cream cheese, softened and cut into smaller pieces
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1 garlic clove, minced
3 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 tablespoons flour
2 tsp dried parsley, if desired. Sometimes I mix it in and sometimes I sprinkle it on top-it looks pretty on top.
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: Bacon, cooked and crumbled (I use the pre-cooked crumbled bacon) to sprinkle on top.
Instructions for Creamy Alfredo Sauce Recipe:
Melt butter. Add garlic. Then, mix in flour with a whisk. Add cream, milk, and cream cheese. Combine over medium heat until smooth, stirring frequently with a whisk. Add salt, pepper, and Parmesan cheese-stir until smooth.
Serve sauce over pasta and top with parsley and/or bacon crumbles.

Combine over medium heat until smooth and creamy. Stir contintually with a whisk as it heats on a low boil.

Add Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper (and parsley, if desired). Stir until smooth and creamy.
